Despite all of the magical qualities of our others 300B power amplifiers, some
people like the perspective of being front row center or even the middle
of the orchestra rather than row M. We thought about it for a while. Almost
anyone can make an amp that plays loud. That wasn't hard. The hard part
is that we at Canary committed ourselves to bring out the purity of music.
We didn't want an amp that played loud. We wanted one that could sing
loudly.

Built to Withstand the Power of Music:

We finally decided to build a pair of mono blocks amplifier around eight matched pairs of 300B triode tubes in a push pull parallel circuit. Like all of our other amplifiers, highest quality parts and components are used in critical applications and Hovland MusiCaps® are used in key circuit locations. We then hand wired them point to point with Teflon coated silver wires, took the time to lay out the wires in neat rows, kept the paths as short as possible. The oversize custom wound power and output transformers are specially designed to extend the bass and highs. An independent, choke filtered high voltage supplies is used for each channel. Just as important, the military grade epoxy circuit boards are designed to minimize component interaction. In addition to that, each of the 300B triode tube has a separate mounted on the rear panel for convenient biasing.
